BIOGRAFIA


1959. Vive e lavora a Firenze. Dopo gli studi di scultura intraprende un percorso di ricerca, introducendo un linguaggio neo-mini- male e post-concettuale. Dal 1988 presenta le sue opere nelle più importanti istituzioni e manifestazioni italiane ed europee, tra cui il PAC, Milano (1989, 1996); il Museum Moderner Kunst, Vienna (1991); il Centro per l’Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci, Prato (1996); la XII Quadriennale Nazionale d’Arte di Roma (2001); la National Gallery di Brati- slava (2006); il Bejing Creative Art Center, Pechino (2008); il MART, Rovereto (2013); Casa Masaccio Centro per l’arte contemporanea, San Giovanni Valdarno (2015); la Triennale, Milano; e la GNAM di Roma (2016). Ha tenuto mostre personali presso la Galleria Schema, Firenze (1992); il Museo Arche- ologico, Firenze (2004); la Fondazione Olivetti, Roma (2007); Premio Terna (2012). 


In 1959 he was born in Florence, where he lives and works, after studying sculpture he embarks on a research path, introducing a neo-minimal and post-conceptual language. Since 1988 he has presented his works in the most important Italian and European institutions and events, including the PAC, Milan (1989, 1996); the Museum Moderner Kunst, Vienna (1991); the Luigi Pecci Center for Contemporary Art, Prato (1996); the XII National Art Quadrennial in Rome (2001); the National Gallery in Bratislava (2006); the Beijing Creative Art Center, Beijing (2008); the MART, Rovereto (2013); Casa Masaccio Center for Contemporary Art, San Giovanni Valdarno (2015); Triennale, Milan; and the GNAM of Rome (2016). He has held solo exhibitions at the Galleria Schema, Florence (1992); the Archaeological Museum, Florence (2004); the Olivetti Foundation, Rome (2007); Terna Award (2012).
