BIOGRAFIA


Imola, 1969. Vive a Milano. Lavora con performance, scultura e scrittura, tra lirismo e dia- logo con l’autorità. Studia all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna e al Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design di Londra. Nel 2001 riceve la Wheatley Bequest Fellowship in Fine Art (Sculpture) presso l’Institute of Art & Design, School of Art, di Birmingham (UK). Insegna all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, Milano. Ha inoltre insegnato all’Accademia di Belle Arti di L’Aquila, alla Libera Università di Bolzano e, dal 2011 al 2019, come Visiting Lecturer in Perfor- mance, alla Royal Academy of Art di L’Aja (NL). Born in Imola in 1969, lives in Milan. He works with performance, sculpture and writing, between lyricism and dialogue with authority. He studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna and at the Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in London. In 2001 he received the Wheatley Bequest Fellowship in Fine Art (Sculpture) at the Institute of Art & Design, School of Art, Birmingham (UK). He teaches at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, Milan. He has also taught at the Academy of Fine Arts in L'Aquila, at the Free University of Bolzano and, from 2011 to 2019, as Visiting Lecturer in Performance, at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague (NL). In 2013 he founded the collective Pawel und Pavel with Margherita Morgantin.
