1962. Vive e lavora a Novara e Milano.
Ha studiato all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera con Luciano Fabro dal 1982 al 1987. Nel 1988 ha partecipato ad un progetto espositivo, curato dagli artisti, dal titolo Politica, del per o riguardante il cittadino a Novi Ligure. Dal 1990 al 1993 ha lavorato ad un progetto collettivo con P. Almeoni, M. Donzelli e R. Marossi esponendo anche a Care of e alla Galleria Massimo Minini. Ha tenuto numerose mostre personali tra cui: Valeria Belvedere, Milano nel 1997, Galleria Neon, Bologna nel 1998, Galleria Ciocca, Milano (Secondo tentativo, nel 2000; Infiniti nel 2005 e Il catalogo delle cose nel 2009). Nel 2000 ha partecipato a un progetto organizzato da Atlantic Center for the Arts, Miami con William Kentridge a Civitella Ranieri. Nel 2012/2013 ha presentato il progetto L’Immagine Negata alla Galleria Martano e nel 2014/15 alla Galleria Milano. Tra le mostre collettive: Galleria 102, Düsseldorf nel 1994; Domestic Violence, Giò Marconi, 1994; Art Fiction, Stadtgalerie Kiel, 1998; Il Guardiano e il Passero, Gallery 101, Ottawa, Canada 2003; Attraversamenti, Mar & Partners, Torino, 2007; Terra! Palazzo Botton, Castellamonte, nel 2016 e Galleria Francesca Antonini, 2018. Da sempre interessata ad una indagine sull’idea di scultura declinata in forme aperte, che utilizza anche mezzi diversi come la fotografia, il disegno e la parola.
Born in 1962, she lives and works in Novara and Milan.
She studied at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts with Luciano Fabro from 1982 to 1987. In 1988 she took part in an exhibition project, curated by the artists, entitled Politics, of the per or concerning the citizen in Novi Ligure. From 1990 to 1993 she worked on a collective project with P. Almeoni, M. Donzelli and R. Marossi, also exhibiting at Care of and at the Galleria Massimo Minini. She has held numerous solo exhibitions including: Valeria Belvedere, Milan in 1997, Galleria Neon, Bologna in 1998, Galleria Ciocca, Milan (Second attempt, in 2000; Infiniti in 2005 and Ilcatalogue of things in 2009). In 2000 she took part in a project organised by the Atlantic Center for the Arts, Miami with William Kentridge at Civitella Ranieri. In 2012/2013 she presented the project L'Immagine Negata at the Martano Gallery and in 2014/15 at the Milan Gallery. Among the group exhibitions: Galleria 102, Düsseldorf in 1994; Domestic Violence, Giò Marconi, 1994; Art Fiction, Stadtgalerie Kiel, 1998; The Guardian and the Sparrow, Gallery 101, Ottawa, Canada 2003; Crossings, Mar & Partners, Turin, 2007; Earth! She has always been interested in an investigation into the idea of sculpture declined in open forms, which also uses different means such as photography, drawing and the word.
